Le sue figure sono allungate fuori da ogni proporzione , sembrano disossati e sono mostrati colpiti , pose teatrali . I corpi nudi , ivory-coloured su uno sfondo scuro , emanare un freddo totale , erotismo intellettuale . L'effetto è accentuato in questo lavoro , per esempio , dal gesto malizioso con cui eva tende la mela , con l'altra mano piegata in modo innaturale per tenere la fronda che le copre i lombi , ma soprattutto dall'espressione furba sul suo viso leggermente crudele .
