Sebbene molti dei suoi dipinti rappresentino una versione forte della realtà , questo dipinto vola nell'immaginazione , la vergine vestita di luce , un alone splendente dalla cima della sua testa . I molti angeli , che le si muovono attorno giocosamente , guardala come se fosse una preziosa reliquia da riverire e proteggere . Alcuni altri allungano la mano per toccarla in modo giocoso , come se fosse già la loro madre .
