il dettaglio mostra l'angelo dell'annunciazione . l'arcangelo gabriele ( pannello in alto a sinistra del polittico della resurrezione ) sembra precipitarsi da sinistra , le sue vesti scorrono dietro di lui . Distende il suo saluto su una banderuola , che sta dando a mary sul pannello opposto . La sua mano destra , parte della banderole , le sue ali e le estremità svolazzanti della sua cintura sono tutte tagliate dal bordo dell'immagine . Questo crea l'impressione che il pannello quasi quadrato sia troppo piccolo per contenere la magnifica figura dell'angelo . questo trucco artistico consente a tiziano di intensificare il senso di tensione e dinamica del dipinto .
