Von ihrer veranda aus hatte man einen herrlichen blick auf ein steiles bewaldetes tal und wiesen , rund um das haus gab es ein gewirr exotischer pflanzen . Sie schrieb " Ich bin in einem zustand der ekstase und weiß kaum, was ich zuerst malen soll . " Jedoch , sie begann zu malen bei tageslicht und kehrte mittags nach hause zurück .
