I celebri affreschi , il trionfo della morte , con scene di accompagnamento del giudizio universale , Inferno , e legends of the hermits furono attribuiti a lungo a francesco traini . Queste , tra gli eccezionali dipinti italiani del 14th secolo , furono gravemente danneggiati dalle bombe durante la seconda guerra mondiale , ma questo ha portato alla luce , a titolo di compensazione parziale , la bella 'sinopie , che ora sono mostrati nel museo delle sinopie .
