Gerrit van Goor was a Dutch painter specialized in painting portraits. He was born in Amsterdam as G. van Goor in 1645. He is known for his portrait of Johannes Camphuys, Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies in 1685. He married Cornelia de Rijck in 1688, followed by a second marriage to Simon Schijnvoet in 1697. He died in Amsterdam.
