Miss Ellen Terry as Lady Macbeth, (1889) is an oil painting by the American artist John Singer Sargent. Dame Ellen Terry, GBE (27 Feb 1847 – 21 Jul 1928) was an English stage actress who became the leading Shakespearean actress in Britain. This painting (221 x 114.3 cm) is in the Tate Gallery, London.
