Christien Meindertsma is a Dutch artist and designer, born in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1980. She studied at Design Academy Eindhoven and trained under Hella Jongerius. Meindertsma's work often examines the use of raw materials, and she is known for her books Checked Baggage and PIG 05049. She has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. Her work is also held in the collections of the Zuiderzee Museum and the Fries Museum.
