زندگینامه:

Gianfrancesco Enzola, also known as il Parmense, was an Italian medallist born in Parma around 1430 and died there around 1513. He was trained in his father's studio and by the goldsmith Alessandro da Parma and his son Pietro da Parma. His early works were marked by a transition from casting to minting to produce medals, with his first phase lasting from around 1455 to around 1471. He was master of the mint at Ferrara from 1472 to 1473, where he abandoned minting in favor of casting, improving the quality and relief of his medals. His second phase, from around 1474 to around 1478, included his masterpieces, the series for Costanzo I Sforza, as well as several small plaques and seal designs. His career culminated with a 9.28 cm diameter medal of the condottiero Federico da Montefeltro.
