Hendrick Heerschop was a Dutch Golden Age painter. He was born in Haarlem in 1626 and died there in 1690. He was a son of the Haarlem tailor, Harmen Jansz. and his second wife, Jopje Jansdr. van Kuyndert. He was possibly Mennonist and married to Janneke Jansdr. van Kuyndert on November 20, 1650. He was a painter of conversation pieces and a pupil of Willem Claesz Heda and Rembrandt. Heerschop's paintings can be found at RKD, Art UK, Artnet, and WikiArt.org.
