Biografi:

Hermann Gretsch was a German designer born in Augsburg in 1895 and died in Stuttgart in 1950. He was trained as an architect before studying ceramics at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Stuttgart. He was a ceramicist and glass worker who worked for Arzberg porcelain and designed the famous Form 1382 in 1931, which is still produced today. He was a member of the Deutscher Werkbund.
