Jamil Naqsh was a Pakistani painter who was born on December 25, 1939, in Kala Bagh, Pakistan. He was known for his idealized and sensual work. Naqsh lived a reclusive life in London from 2012 until his death on May 16, 2019. He briefly studied at the National College of Arts but left before obtaining a degree. Naqsh's work has been exhibited in numerous key galleries and museums, including the Grosvenor Gallery.
