Biografi:

Jeonghee Kim, also known as Kim Jeong-hui, was a celebrated practitioner of calligraphy, epigraphist, and scholar of Korea's later Joseon period. He was a member of the Gyeongju Kim clan and used various art names, including Wandang, Chusa, Yedang, Siam, Gwapa, and Nogwa. Kim is especially celebrated for having transformed Korean epigraphy and for having created the 'Chusa-che' writing style inspired by his study of ancient Korean and Chinese epitaphs. His ink paintings, especially of orchids, are equally admired. Kim belonged to the Silhak (Practical Learning) school and was related to Queen Jeongsun, the second wife of King Yeongjo. He was also a cousin to Namyeon-gun Yi Gu and a teacher of Heungseon Daewongun, King Gojong's father and a noted calligrapher.
