Biography:

Mehr Javed is a Pakistani visual artist whose work spans various media. She is known for her performances that explore the notions of intimacy and familiarity, which are intrusive, awkward, and often incapacitating, especially in situations of co-existence. Javed's performances have been featured in international festivals, including KHOJLive in 2008. She has received recognition for her social-based dramas, including Ruswai and Dunk, for which she won the PISA Award for Best Actress Critics. Javed also gained praise for her portrayal of the titular role in the romantic drama Khaani, for which she received a nomination at the Lux Style Awards. In addition to her acting career, Javed is also a film and television actress, best known for her performance in the movie Mehrunisa V Lub U (2017).
