Bob Hines is an American fighter pilot and NASA astronaut, born on January 11, 1975, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. He was selected by NASA to join the 2017 Astronaut Candidate Class and has served more than 21 years in the United States Air Force. Hines has logged 170 days in space as the pilot of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-4 mission to the International Space Station, which concluded on Oct. 14, 2022. He is married to lawyer and 2024 presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
