Stephan Balkenhol is a German sculptor born in Fritzlar, Germany in 1957. He is known for his figurative painted wooden sculptures and reliefs. He is currently a Professor of Sculpture at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe in Germany. He lives and works in Karlsruhe, Germany and Meisenthal, France.
