Artist B. P. Paliwal was born in 1944 and graduated in 1967 from the Delhi College of Art. Paliwal worked with pen and ink and painted in vibrant watercolour and oils. His work depicted the connection between man and nature, the vastness of the earth, water and the cosmic universe. Many of his paintings speak of the struggle of the mighty against the weak.
