对"花花花花花""花花花花花花"的批判取自出自中国古代诗人陶元明所编诗作"花花花花花花花花花"(365–427)的出名作词序. 序言讲述了一位来自武林的渔民的故事,他沿他以前从未钓过鱼的河流向上游翻船时,撞上一棵开花的桃花树,树上两岸都铺满了花,并发现水从山坡洞穴的一泉涌入了河中. 经过洞口后,他出走入了被魔法所淹没的山谷中,在后秦时期(公元前221年-207年)人们从战争中出走并一直被孤立. 捕鱼和养殖,他们领导了丰厚的,幸福的生活并恳求渔夫不要离开并透露他们的秘密. 然而,这位渔民在逗留了几天后突然离开,返回武林报告他的经历。 当然,返回的探险队再也找不到回路了. 这幅大型画对故事进行了忠实的描绘,前地的渔夫将他的船向上游推进.
