Die Aquarell auf Papier, unten rechts von Alessandro Zezzos signiert, porträtiert eine halbe Büste eines Mädchens in drei Vierteln mit grob gestylten Haar. Das in all seinen anatomischen Details gut definierte Gesicht zeichnet sich durch tiefblaue Augen aus, die mit Melancholie verhüllt sind. Die junge Frau ist in ein einfaches und breites Hemd eingewickelt, das ihre zarte Schönheit verbessert. Die romantische Dimension der Komposition wird durch den leichten Chromatismus deutlich betont, der durch Farbtöne von Rosa und Blau gekennzeichnet ist.
