Gipsmodell eines Bisonskopfes, der von A. Phimister Proctor geformt und Theodore Roosevelt gegeben wurde. Im Jahr 1909 ersetzte Theodore Roosevelt die Stein geschnitzten Löwen auf dem Mantel des staatlichen Speisesaals im Weißen Haus mit Schnitzereien des amerikanischen Bisons. TR betrachtete den Löwen als Symbol der europäischen Monarchie und dachte, dass stattdessen ein einzigartig amerikanisches Tier, wie das Bison, verwendet werden sollte.
