"Omnia vincit Amor", (Love triumphiert über alles) ist ein Zitat von Virgils Eclogues. Venus, die Göttin der Liebe, wird auf der linken Seite mit ihren Attributen die Tauben und mit ihrem kleinen Sohn Amor gezeigt, bewaffnet mit Bogen und Pfeilen, klammern an ihre Trümmer. Eine junge Gottheit, vermutlich Hymen, Gott der Ehe, brennt mit seiner rechten Hand einen flamierenden Fackel und greift in seinen linken Schnüren, die einen Adler auslösten. Der Adler symbolisiert alle Kreaturen, die im Element Air leben, ein Hippocampus steht für die des Wassers und ein Löwe für die auf der Erde. Das vierte Element, Feuer, ist implizit in der Göttin selbst, in der geflügelten Amores, oder kleine Lieben, und vor allem in Hymens flaming Fackel.
