Zwei Hirsche in der Bucht, gejagt von Jägern und Hunden. Stag Jagd war ein beliebtes Thema in der flämischen Kunst des 16. Jahrhunderts. Der niedrige Horizont, die reichlichen Bäume, die Vistas und die Wahl der Farben alle zeigen flämischen Einfluss. Doch Bleker lebte und arbeitete in Haarlem.
