Vorbereitende Malerei für die Kuppel der Santa Maria del Pópolo Kapelle in Cesena Kathedrale (Italien). Die Komposition hat zwei Ebenen, mit der Jungfrau und dem Kind im Zentrum enthronten auf einer Wolke. Die heiligen Apostel sitzen am Ufer der Wolke, mit einem perfekten Gleichgewicht auf jeder Seite. Besonders interessant sind die erstaunliche Kraft, die Architektur der Wolken, die Transparenz und Tiefe des Himmels und der Rhythmus der Linien. Guiaquinto verwendet eine Palette von blauen und rosa Pastell, mit den roten der Heiligen
