Der Innenraum, auch The Rape genannt, ist ein Ölgemälde auf Leinwand von Edgar Degas, lackiert in 1868–1869. Bezeichnet als "die schillerndste von Degas's großen Werken", zeigt es eine angespannte Konfrontation durch Lampenlicht zwischen einem Mann und einer teilweise unausgesprochenen Frau. Der theatralische Charakter der Szene hat Kunsthistoriker dazu geführt, eine literarische Quelle für die Komposition zu suchen, aber keine der vorgeschlagenen Quellen hat sich mit universaler Akzeptanz getroffen. Sogar der Titel des Gemäldes ist unsicher; Bekannte des Künstlers bezeichneten es entweder als Le Viol oder Intérieur, und es war unter dem letztgenannten Titel, dass Degas es erstmals 1905 ausstellte. Das Gemälde ist im Philadelphia Museum of Art untergebracht.
