Edige Linnig, Künstler. Öl auf Leinwand. 1857. SAM DUNNING; 3-m Kriegsschiff mit allen Segeln. 14 Waffenhäfen. Burgee fliegen auf dem Hauptmast. American Ensign. Unbeständiges Ufer mit Gebäuden und Windmühle. Port-Seitenansicht in tiefen Schatten. Nach außen an Flushing, Mündung des Flusses Schelde. Rahmen 335.5 x 45.5. Vorgesehen für die Angebote (fir oder Pinienplanken bestimmter Dimensionen) und Baumwollhandel nach Europa, trug die DUNNING sowohl die Ladungen unter Maine Skippers Thomas und Robert Skolfield. Sie beladen eine Baumwollladung bei Mobile kurz nach Secession im Jahre 1861 und ging schnell, um Anfall zu vermeiden. Sie trug auch Guan, Getreide, Kohle und unter britischem Eigentum Reis. Sie wurde 1854 von Samuel Dunning bei Brunswick gebaut und 1864 verloren.
