Nachdem sie Prinz Boris Andreyevich Golitsyn geheiratet hatte, erhob Prinzessin Boris (1763–1842), wie sie hieß, eine Familie von acht Kindern. Sie besaß auch eines der größten Vermögen im Reich und beherbergte einen einflussreichen Salon in St. Petersburg. Für dieses monumentale Porträt trägt sie at-home Kleid: ein zartes chemise Kleid mit einem kurzarmen seidenenen Peignoir zeichnet sich durch eine Reihe von üppigen komplementären Farben aus. Ihr exotischer Crimson Turban ist mit einem Panache von Federn verziert.
