Die Miniatur wurde von Ethienne Bouchardy realisiert (die Unterschrift befindet sich in Cursive auf der Miniatur selbst), die in der ersten Hälfte des XIX Jahrhunderts arbeitete und war Student von Antoine-Jean Gros. In der Portraitur des frühen neunzehnten Jahrhunderts zeigt sich der Einfluss neoklassizistischer Bildhauer in der Primis Antonio Canova, indem man die Präsenz eines starken Realismus in der Darstellung sowie die Wahl des Profils nach der klassischen Numismatik betrachtet.
