Trotz seines allgemein schlechten Zustands ist dies eine Arbeit von großem Interesse. Besonders erfinderisch sind die Posen der Jungfrau und des Kindes. Das Bild wurde zu einem Zeitpunkt Pesellino zugeschrieben, aber es wurde auch eine Sienese Arbeit in der Nähe von Domenico di Bartolo gedacht. Es ist wahrscheinlich Florentine und geht um 1440. Der Rahmen, obwohl originell, wurde aufmerksam.
