Pesellino spezialisiert auf zart ausgeführte kleine Gemälde ideal für private Studie oder für private Hingabe zu tragen. Bemerkenswerterweise werden die Figuren trotz ihrer geringen Größe mit einer Meisterschaft beschrieben, die ein neues Kapitel in der florentinischen Malerei eröffnet. Links nach rechts die Heiligen sind: Anthony Abbot, Jerome, Cecilia, Catherine von Alexandria, Augustine und George. Die Figurentypen und Beleuchtung zeigen den Einfluss von Fra Filippo Lippi, mit dem Pesellino gelegentlich zusammengearbeitet hat.
