Diese bezaubernde Aquarell zeigt das Hochzeits-Bankett, das im September 1790 stattfand, um die Ehe zwischen Armand Jules Marie, zweiter Herzog von Polignac und Baroness Ida Johanna Linna van Neukirchen zu feiern. Die Hochzeitsfeier fand auf dem Festland, in der Villa Gradenigo in Carpenedo statt. Es gab 34 Gäste um einen monumentalen Esstisch. Das Fehlen von Service-Mitarbeitern und anderen Details unterstützt die Hypothese, dass dies eine Skizze ist, die der Maler dann verwenden würde, um eine verfeinerte Arbeit durchzuführen, eigentlich nie realisiert.
