Ein gefühl der ruhe und ausdruckskraft sowie lichteffekte zeichnen diese leinwand aus , mit dem schönen helm und rüstungsteilen im vordergrund . Dachte das zu sein Gattamelata's porträt - ein berühmter italienischer kapitän ( 1370-1443 ) - das bild wurde der letzten aktivität von giorgione zugeschrieben , tot in 1510 , obwohl die zuschreibung nicht sicher ist, da einige kritiker sie an andere künstler als paolo morando namens il cavazzola verwiesen . Restauriert in 1990
