Diese exquisite kleine Roko-Skulptur wird vom italienischen Künstler Giovan Battista Nini unterschrieben und stammt aus dem Jahr 1762. Nini erhielt seine Ausbildung als Bildhauer an der Accademia Clementina in Bologna, wo er die Möglichkeit hatte, eng mit den besten lokalen Roko-Exponenten wie Donato Creti und Angelo Gabriello Piò zu arbeiten. Quellen geben einen Bericht von vielen seiner Porträts auf verschiedenen Provisionen realisiert, aber diese raffinierte kleine Büste einer jungen Dame ist die einzige Arbeit, die ihm heute sicher zugeschrieben wird.
