Diese illusionistischen Darstellungen allergorischer Skulpturen aus dem Palazzo Valle Marchesini Sala in Vicenza waren Teil eines immersiven Freskenzyklus, der um 1760 abgeschlossen und um 1900 gelöst wurde. Eingearbeitete Linien (immer noch im Rakellicht sichtbar) halfen, Tiepolo zu führen, wie er schnell bemalt, bevor die nasse Gipsoberfläche der Wände getrocknet wurde. Tiepolo konsultierte einen Spezialisten in der Perspektive, Mengozzi, um sicherzustellen, dass die foreshortened Darstellungen von Architektur und Skulptur ausgerichtet, wenn man im Zentrum des Raumes stand, Beweise, wie ortsspezifische solche dekorativen Programme sein könnten.
