Graziosa Torriani ist aktiv an der Philanthropie beteiligt, zusammen mit ihrem Mann Dante Tomasini, einem erfolgreichen Unternehmer, trotz der bescheidenen Ursprünge und des langen Krieges, der ihn, ausgehend vom Konflikt, dazu zwingt, praktisch von Grund auf zu beginnen. Für das Maggiore-Krankenhaus spenden die beiden Ehepartner wichtige Zahlen und wesentliche Eigenkapitalinstrumente, um die Expansion der Pavillons zu finanzieren, die neben dem Kauf zum Standort der Universitätskliniken werden, um kostenlos an die Armen zu verteilen, 1 Million Dosen Penicillin.
