Clelia De Simoni (1854-1940), geboren in Bologna von Carabinieri Kapitän, der oft Wohnsitz aus Servicegründen ändert, kommt schließlich in Mailand an, wo sie den Winzer Luigi Nobili heiratet, der wiederum ein Wohltäter des Maggiore Krankenhauses ist. In seinem Willen ernennt sie ihre adoptierte Tochter Chiara Dorfles Gallignani, mit vielen Legaten für gemeinnützige und Wohlfahrtsagenturen und Institutionen in Mailand und Stresa (diese Stadt am Lago Maggiore war verbunden, weil sie dort den Sommer verbrachte) und, nachahmt ihren Mann, ordnet die Summe von 100.000 Lire im Krankenhaus, schickt in ihre eigenen
