Hans Aescher (1866 - 1947), Maler und Grafiker deutscher Herkunft, ist Autor zahlreicher Aquarell- und Grafikarbeiten, unter denen es einige im Besitz von Cotroceni National Museum. Unter ihnen gibt es diese schöne Aquarell, die zwei bäuerliche Frauen repräsentiert, tragen traditionelle Kostüme, mit Schleiern und speziellen Sandalen. Man hält eine Tasche in einer Hand und der andere benutzt einen Schirm als Rohr. Die hellen Farben und die Mimik der Frauen schlagen einen Zustand des Glücks oder der Fröhlichkeit vor.
