Cello, der zum portugiesischen Cellisten Guilhermina Suggia (1885-1950) gehörte, einer der ersten Frauen, die eine berufliche Karriere spielen Cello verfolgen. Suggia erbte dieses Violoncello von ihrem Vater Augusto Suggia, der ein Cellist am Real Teatro de São Carlos und ein Lehrer des Konservatoriums für Musik von Lissabon war. Zu Ehren seines Vaters verließ Suggia dieses Instrument im Vermächtnis an den Nationalen Konservatorium von Lissabon, nachdem er später die Sammlung des Museums integriert hatte. Das Cello wurde von einem Element der bekannten Familie der englischen Instrumentenmacher, Lockey Hill, höchstwahrscheinlich Henry Lockey Hill (1774-1835), die von Informationen auf seinem Label unterzogen.
