Sebrons Gemälde war das Modell für den großen Aquatint von Friedrich Salathé für Goupil & Company, Paris und New York, im Jahre 1852. Sebron erhielt die Kommission für das Gemälde von William Schaus, Goupils New York Agent. Es wird angenommen, dass Sebron zu dieser Zeit in den Vereinigten Staaten reist.
