Dieses Fragment gehörte einmal zu einer Handschrift mit der Poesie der gesamten Anthologie Einhundert Gedichte von Einhundert Poeten. Die Untermalung in Gold und Silber von Tawaraya Sōtatsu beschreibt den Lebenszyklus des Lotus – eine Pflanze, die mit dem Buddhismus verbunden ist. Die beiden Gedichte hier sind von Fujiwara no Akisuke (1090–1155) und Lady Horikawa (aktiv Ende des 12. Jahrhunderts). Sakyō Dayū Akisuke merkliche Zusammenfassung大Akikaze ni tanabiku kumo no taema yori mehr-izuru tsuki no kage no sayakesa Das Licht des Mondes, klar und strahlend, verwöhnt durch Brüste in den Wolken, gefesselt durch Herbstbrise. Taikenmon Horikawa gebührenpflichtig Nagakaran kokoro mo shirazu kurokami no midarete kesa wa mono o koso omo Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie lange seine Liebe zu mir dauern wird – wie ich mich heute Morgen an unsere Affäre erinnere, mit meinen haarverschränkten Gefühlen!
