Vorbereitende Skizze auf Papierträger eines Designs für einen Faltlüfter. Es zeigt einen Tiger in schwarzer Tinte und einfarbiges Waschen unter Bambus. Tiger sind nicht in Japan heimisch, und die Symbolik, die mit dem Tier verbunden ist, stammt aus China. In Japan war der Tiger ein Zeichen von Mut, Würde, Überarbeitung und Verbesserung für Samurai, und in der Geschichte Japans wurde der Tiger auch als Symbol für eine sichere Rückkehr nach Hause betrachtet, glaubte, Glück einzuladen.
