Die in diesem Fall eingravierte Inschrift lautet: Edwin Greble zu Susan V. Major / 1829. / Gemalt von Jas. Smith. Edwin Greble (1806–1883) von Philadelphia lief ein Marmor- und Granitwerk, das Kamine, Friedhofsdenkmäler und architektonische Elemente produzierte. Er hatte diese Porträt Miniatur von sich als Geschenk an seine Verlobte Susan Virginia Major (1808–1875), die er 1831 heiratete. Das Fenster offenbart eine komplizierte Flechtigkeit von Grebles Haar, die als intime Erinnerung an seine Zuneigung für Susan bedeutet.
