Die ägyptischen Schalab Motive auf dem Gürtel und das asymmetrische Rockdesign. Es ist ein gutes Beispiel für den orientalischen Einfluss auf die Mode, die damals populär war. Jeanne Paquin gründete ihr Modehaus in Paris im Jahre 1891, und gewann die Popularität unter den Gesellschaft Frauen und Schauspielerinnen wegen ihrer wunderschön gestalteten Kleider, die wunderschön und romantisch waren. Sie eröffnete 1896 Niederlassungen in London und gründete Dessous- und Pelzabschnitte und erzielte durch diese Vertriebserweiterung Erfolg.
