Dampflokomotive, die 1890 von Société John Cockerill für die Royal Company of the Portuguese Railways in Belgien gebaut wurde. Diese Lokomotive und CP 004 aus dem gleichen Bau waren eine Erweiterung der CP-Serie 001 und 002, von 1882. CP 003 wurde Entroncamento und später in Contumil zugewiesen. Ihre kleine Dimension, kombiniert mit Robustheit und Manövrierfähigkeit, bedeutete, dass diese Serie von kleinen Lokomotiven ausschließlich für den Eisenbahnbau sowie die Shunting-Zölle an Stationen und Warendepots, wo sie zugewiesen wurden, bestimmt war. Diese Lokomotiven wurden daher als Pilot Lokomotiven bezeichnet und waren die Vorgänger der Dieseljäger. Lokomotiven dieser Serie wurden als
