Miranda und der Tempest (1912) ist ein Ölgemälde des englischen Pre-Raphaelit Malers John William Waterhouse. Von 1908-1914 malte er eine Reihe von Gemälden auf der Grundlage der Persephone Legende. Es folgten Bilder auf der Grundlage von Literatur und Mythologie 1916 (Miranda, Tristram und Isolde). Miranda ist ein Charakter ist William Shakespeares Spiel The Tempest. Das Spiel wurde zuerst um 1611 gespielt. Waterhouse malte Versionen von Miranda am Anfang und Ende seiner Karriere. Das Gemälde ist jetzt in privater Sammlung.
