1519, König Carlos Ich schlug vor, das Gericht durch die Delegation zu führen, eine Botschaft an Valencia vor dem Bischof von Tortosa, Kardinal Adrian von Utrecht (später Papst Adrian VI), die die Empörung der Adligen und der verzweiflten Gilden provozieren würde. Die Ablehnung eines Königs, der die Fueros nicht geschworen hatte und der die Cortes nicht nannte, würde die gesellschaftliche Unruhe verschlimmern, die weggeben würde, das Jahr 1520 zum Aufstand der Deutschen.
