Italienische Landschaft in der Nähe von Neapel, im Hintergrund der Golf von Neapel und die Insel Ischia mit dem Vulkan Epomeo. Im Vordergrund die Ruinen eines römischen Aquädukts. Auf der rechten Seite eine Straße mit großen Steinen gepflastert, im Hintergrund ein Kloster auf einem Hügel. Auf der Straße ist ein Priester mit einem Mann mit zwei Hunden.
