Ländlicher Charakter. Ein Mann, der in Silhouette vor einem hellen Hintergrund mit einem stagnierenden See oder großen Teich und einer Bergkette am Horizont steht. Er trägt die Kleidung eines Viehzüchters, mit Chaps und Espadrillen. Juan Cabré malte dieses Stück, als er Student an der San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando) in Madrid zwischen 1900 und 1908 war, mit einem Zuschuss von der Provinzregierung in Teruel.
