Der Meister luthier (ein Hersteller von Lauten und anderen Saiteninstrumenten), der diese Kemenche Rendered Vögel, Scrolling Laub, und Sterne entlang des Kopfes, Kanten und Rückseite dieses Instruments, mit Elfenbein in Tortoiseshell mit einem Blatt-Backing gesetzt. Er schnitzte die Stimmtasten aus Elfenbein und kappen sie mit Ebenholzknöpfen. Solche feine und aufwendige Dekoration deutet darauf hin, dass dies ein Instrument war, das vor Gericht oder für Mitglieder der wohlhabenden Klasse gespielt werden soll.
