Die Arbeit an der Kathedrale Fassade zwischen 1519 und 1521 beteiligte sich an seinen 3 Türen, und es war notwendig, die Säulenstatuen und Reliefs, die von Meister Mateo und seinem Team hinzugefügt wurden, um die Dekoration und Ikonographie auf dem Portiko zu beenden. Später, Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts, holte der Graf von Ximonde einige von ihnen und brachte sie zu seinem Haus, wo sie bis 1947 blieb, als sie von Santiago de Compostela Rathaus erworben wurden. Die Arbeiten wurden auf der Treppe im Raxoi-Palast platziert, bis sie von General Francisco Franco erhalten wurden, bevor sie in ihre aktuelle Lage am Casa de Cornide in A Coruña gebracht wurden. Yzquierdo Perrín glaubt, dass diese Gegenstände zweifellos Teil des Portico of Glory waren
