Der Begriff Wagen wurde in der Antike auf Zweirad-Fahrzeuge angewendet, die für Krieg, Rennen und Zeremonie verwendet wurden. Um 1650 wurde der Name auferstanden und auf elegante Halbkoaches angewendet, die sich durch einen erhöhten Körper und hohe Räder auszeichnen. Leichter und weniger teuer als Full Coaches, Wagen waren beliebte Luxusfahrzeuge im achtzehnten und neunzehnten Jahrhundert. Diese Version wurde nach ihrem Designer, Alfred Guillaume Gabriel Count D
